Toyota Camry

Audio System Upgrade

This Toyota Camry like most vehicles was fitted with a poor audio system from the factory and here at Lifestyle Store this is what we love to rectify!

The vehicle was stripped and prepped then we laid down a layer of Dynamat sound deadening on the outer skin of the doors and sealed with a layer of Focal Bam on the inner skin. An awesome feature of the focal Bam product is with its thicker closed cell foam backing it is very effective in reducing vibrations in door trims which is necessary when upgrading components to ones that more than double the output of factory items.

The front doors became home to a set of Focal PS165V1 components. The rear doors were welcomed with Focal PC165 coaxial speakers to match the front “split” set.

To power the speakers we used the JL Audio XD400/4  4 channel amplifier. Matching this we used the JL Audio XD600/1 mono block amplifier to power the subwoofer. The subwoofer of choice was a JL Audio 10TW3 slimline woofer in a custom fiberglass box trimmed in factory carpet.

The brain of the system we chose was the Hertz H8 8 channel DSP. With this we are able to fine tune every component of the system to get the utmost performance and clarity available.

This customers Camry got the upgrade it needed and the owner loved that he could now listen to his music loud and clear.
